Pro-Tech: Manufacturing Technology

Dordt's Manufacturing Technology program trains students to manage production, perform quality control, maintain machinery, oversee operations, handle workflow and assembly, and engage in more advanced manufacturing tasks. 

This two-year program is designed for hands-on learning. The course load includes a paid internship every semester, allowing students to have an opportunity to gain work experience in the industry.

Engineering

Dordt University offers an accredited engineering program with concentrations in civil, electrical, mechanical, and chemical engineering. Additional non-traditional concentrations are offered such as biomedical, mechatronic, and energy systems engineers.

As an engineering major at Dordt, you'll learn technical skills in the classroom and will have numerous opportunities to do hands-on projects.

Business Administration and Accounting

Business administration is a necessary part of the manufacturing industry. As a business administration major at Dordt, you can pursue various emphases that pertain to the manufacturing environment including: management, marketing, human resources, and accounting.

Computer Science

Whether programming computers and machines for the manufacturing floor or running the computer network and equipment that employees use, Dordt's computer science program prepares students to succeed as programmers, software administrators, installers, and troubleshooters.
